How many times in a wedding season am I allowed to say the word incredible? So grateful for these two and how they handled a major power outage on their wedding day. They embraced the unknown and had a beautiful day that was INCREDIBLE! Also, the power came back on 15 minutes before the ceremony and the Broadmoor and Isabelle Kline Design pulled off a stunning day with large setbacks that the guests were none the wiser too.

Hello it's me, Sarah! I'm a list maker and honestly every time I do a post about myself it always just turns into a list of things. Today I wanted to do a list of some of my favorite things I'm grateful for. 1. Walking through 2020 and beyond I'm grateful for my health and what my body has been able to accomplish. Wedding seasons are physically demanding sandwiched in between mind numbing amounts of being sedentary in a car or at a desk. I ask a lot of my body on a daily basis and it generally shows up in a big way for me and I'm so grateful for that. 2. My husband! If you have ever spent any period of time around me you'll soon find out that my husband is the best earthly thing I've been given. He gives himself so selflessly to our family. He's my biggest cheerleader and has always believed in my dreams and vision for my business. I love spending time with him and we actively talk about what our lives will be like when we retire. If you want to know what that looks like just envision an old couple in the diner having a cup of coffee and sharing a breakfast burrito planning their next overseas trip or chatting about what organization to volunteer with or hopefully chatting about something cute our grandkids did the other day.3. Music, I'm grateful for music! I get to see the power of it at every wedding. I once upon a time was a music major for a hot second and thought I wanted to be an opera singer. Today I just live vicariously through watching musicals. 4. My three sons! This is one of my favorite pictures of them. We took this in the first few days of lockdown during 2020 and it still cracks me up to this day. 5. The power of pictures! Though my Nana lived for 3 more years after this picture was taken it's the last picture I have with her. Please don't ever feel shy about asking for a picture with a loved one. I'm always happy to stop and get a "grip and grin" at a minimum but let's create something special.
